This gorgeous vintage black silk faille cocktail dress features really great full balloon sleeves- they are meant to be pushed up on the arm for a full balloon effect. They have generous armholes.
It has a very uniquely gored bodice/skirt, with a full back zip. Flattering square neckline. It has an inner belt, where the label resides. It is unlined.
It has a Blum's-Vogue label ( an exclusive high-end Ladies' Store popular in Chicago in the 40s and '50s). It is possible this is an unlabeled designer dress, as most of the items from this particular estate had designer labels and many were from Blum's- Vogue Store.
